JasonSamuel.com publishes technical content for enterprise IT professionals. This page describes the standards, disclosures, and processes that govern every article on this site.
Every article on this site is written from first-hand production experience. Content is not rehashed vendor marketing, press releases, or aggregated summaries of other blogs. If a configuration, command, or architecture is described, it has been tested in a real environment -- lab, enterprise production, or both.
Technical claims are written to be testable and reproducible. Where a procedure applies to a specific product version, that version is stated explicitly. Results that depend on environment variables or scale are noted as such rather than presented as universal.
JasonSamuel.com is a single-author publication. All articles are written by Jason Samuel.
No ghostwriters, no content mills, no outsourced drafts. Every word published under this byline is written and reviewed by Jason Samuel.
This site does not publish sponsored content, paid placements, or advertorials. No vendor or third party pays for editorial coverage, article placement, or positive framing of a product.
Some articles contain affiliate links. When an affiliate relationship exists, it is disclosed at the top of the article. Affiliate relationships do not influence product recommendations or conclusions. Products are recommended because they have been used and found valuable -- not because of commission potential.
Opinions expressed on this site are the author's own and do not represent the positions of any employer, vendor, or organization the author is affiliated with.
Factual errors are corrected promptly. When a correction is made to a published article, a visible correction notice is added to the article stating what was changed and when. The original incorrect text is not silently deleted.
Technical content has a shelf life. Articles covering product versions, configurations, or procedures that have changed over time are marked with their original publication date. Readers are encouraged to verify version-specific details against current vendor documentation before applying them in production.

Technical claims on this site are grounded in one or more of the following:
When external data, statistics, or research is cited, the source is attributed and linked. Unverified claims, rumors, or speculative vendor roadmap information are labeled as such or not published.
AI tools are used in the production of content on this site for specific, bounded tasks -- including code generation, syntax checking, and research assistance to surface relevant documentation.
All published content is reviewed, tested, and approved by the author before publication. Technical procedures are verified through hands-on testing. AI-generated text that has not been reviewed and validated by a human is never published on this site.
The expertise, analysis, opinions, and editorial judgment expressed in every article originate with the author -- not with a language model.
